That poster is pretty damn cool. Also, another movie that was better than the book is Forrest Gump.
So many good moments to choose from for making posters.
Great bloody posters........
Cool poster. The movie was better than the book because Stanley Kubrick wasn't in the book, just saying
Dude, SWEET posters! And I submit it to you, good sir, that ANYTHING translated from a Stephen King novel will be superior as a movie, mainly because of the excising of certain elements (y'know, the Stephen King little foibles like PRETEEN ADOLESCENT GANGBANG, or RAMPANT HOMOPHOBIA followed immediately by RAMPANT, DEBASED HOMOSEXUALITY) and adding in things like Tim Curry as Pennywise.Screw the haters, Pennywise is freakin' awesome.Admittedly though, while the books DO divulge more lore than the movies...sometimes, it's best to simply go with what the movies say, ESPECIALLY if you've read It or The Stand. It shouldn't matter that Trashman was prison-gay. It shouldn't matter that the only time he ever felt happy was when his bunkmate told him he loved him. All it did was water down the awesome YEAHBABYIAMTHEMIDNIGHTBOMBERWHATBOMBSATMIDNIGHT aspect of the character that came out in the movie.Yes, it annoys me when awesomely one dimensional characters who are perfectly fine the way they are get humanized and given an emotional aspect. Next thing y'know, you'll have characters like Conan and the Predator bawwing on each other's shoulders because their daddies didn't love them enough or some shit.
Well, that's not hard. The original poster was shit.
Blown away by the quality of those posters. Most excellent!!! :D
The Shining is one of my all time favorite movies. Nicholson does fantastic.
Little piggy, little piggy why dont you let me come in?Creepy and that trikey? Gawd, only Kubrick can do that.
Those posters are fantastic!
@ That Bastard. Yeah Stephen King needs to learn when to shut the fuck up
Brilliant poster! I have a post on The Shining lined up for this months LAMB movie of the month.
